The Eyes
- Eyes begin to appear as two lumps on face on day 10.

- Optic vesicles stretch out and form on day 11.
- The purpose of the optic vesicle is to make way for full eye development.
- Walls of the Optic Vesicles thicken on day 11.
- Optic Vesicles create an inner thinner layer on day 12.
- Optic Vesicles create a thinner outer layer that will eventually be the pigmented layer of the retina on day 12.
- The purpose of the pigmented layer is to help the eye see color.
- Pigment granules appear on the surface on day 13.
- Also, the surface ectoderm will create the lens of the eye.
- Towards the end of the process the blood vessels will connect and form around the eye.
