Birth Enrichmanet Ideas
In order to make the birth go smoothly, I would say that we should bring Freddy into a sterile environment in order to reduce the chance of injury. I would also suggest we give Freddy some minor pain killers to reduce the pain during birth.
Freddy and Steven are expecting their kangaroo rat child, Patrick in about 25 days! This website is to keep you up to date on how Freddy's pregnency is going. Stay tuned for more!

Zygote to Blastula: Cell Division
At the beginning of Freddy's pregnancy Patrick starts off as nothing but a small cell. As the pregnancy continues he will go through mitosis. First, the chromosomes in the cell will spread out on opposite sides of the cell. Next, the spindle fibers will connect to the chromosomes and begin to pull apart. This pulling motion will split the cell into two seperate cells, then this process will continue.

Background of Baby Kangaroo Rat
Now that Freddy is pregnant, she will have Patrick during the summer because their reproductive output is highest in summer following high rainfalls. Kangaroo rats breed between February and May and have two to three litters of rats Before mating, the male and female will perform nasal-anal circling until the female stops and allows the male to mount her. Freddy will allow Steven to mount her several times in a short period of time to ensure a greater chance of producing offspring. Within 22-27 days, Steven and Freddy will soon have baby Patrick!!
